Eric was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, but has been in the city he loves – Metropolitan Denver – since 1976. He has dedicated his endeavors to helping people in this community with whatever problems or opportunities they face. Since 1995 he has been a volunteer Big Brother through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Colorado and is seeking appointment on that organization's Board of Directors. He is also involved with offering pro bono legal assistance by volunteering through El Centro Bienestar in Denver, a group that provides free legal advice to low-income individuals. As an attorney, Eric assists people in a variety of legal endeavors and consistently works to meet their goals and exceed their expectations. While attending college, Eric was a store manager for Hugh M. Woods/Payless Cashways, Inc., a Fortune 500 building materials specialty retailer.

Diego, a fluent Spanish speaker, is a native Argentine who grew up in Miami. Throughout his final years of law school and for two years thereafter, Diego worked primarily with community development programs and projects in West Denver's predominantly Mexican and Chicano neighborhoods. Most recently, Diego was the Community Justice Coordinator for the Denver District Attorney's Restorative Justice CAB program. Diego has also been involved, and continues to be involved in a variety of volunteer efforts to help monolingual Spanish speakers access to the justice system and the protections of the law. These efforts include work through El Centro Bienestar, Colorado Advocates for Hispanic Families and Children, Justice Information Center, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association's Pro Bono Attorney Program.

JENNIFER “MOE” GROTE, PARALEGAL AND OFFICE MANAGER

Moe worked as an intern and Clerk in Arapahoe County for two years where she developed in intimate understanding of the judicial system. She has worked as a paralegal in growing private law firms in Denver and was voted an Outstanding Young Woman of America in 1997.
