In my career I have handled hundreds of cases ranging from traffic tickets all the way up to armed robbery. I treat each case, regardless of the type, with the same effort and goals in mind. Namely, I protect my clients interests, advocate their legal position, and minimize their exposure to liability.

Since my time back in Law School when I worked at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, and through my years in practice, I have always been fascinated by the use of and the study of scientific evidence. I find it particularly useful in the context of DUI cases. There a basic understanding of toxicology and the methods used by police officers in administering breath tests can lead one to expose weaknesses in the prosecution's case which at first glance may have seemed ironclad.

Before I agree to take a case, I like to have the potential client come into the office. This serves two purposes. First, it gives an opportunity to see if their is compatibility between the attorney and client. This is vital to having a successful attorney-client relationship where communication is vital. The second is that it gives me an opportunity to discuss the case and explain how I would proceed if I were the attorney. For these reasons, I never charge for the initial visit and if the client wishes to go elsewhere, that's okay.

The most important thing that I try to do as a lawyer, is to help minimize the impact and the inconvenience that arises when citizens have any encounter in the "Justice System".
