Scott Larson received his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University in 1976, majoring in both history and zoology. He attended law school at the University of Denver and graduated from the University of Denver in the top 15% of his class in 1978. Since obtaining his license to practice law in the state of Colorado in 1979, Scott has focused his practice on litigation matters in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, sports accidents, and construction disputes.

For the past 21 years, Scott has litigated hundreds of cases in both federal and state courts and has participated in a multitude of arbitration proceedings. During the same time, he has successfully resolved over a thousand other matters through negotiation and mediation.

Scott is or has been a member of the American Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Colorado Bar Association where he has served as Chairman of the Interprofessional Committee, the Denver Bar Association and the Adams County Bar Association. He is a regular lecturer at Continuing Legal Education seminars for lawyers and has participated on an annual bases in the high school mock trial competition and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America's Moot Court competition. He also co-authored a publication dealing with ski area and ski accident liability.
